Come on Will, surely its July 2015, isn't it? Irrespective of whether it is June or July 2015 (?), I, personally, am thinking of going up there on July 12th (which is this coming weekend, and therefore 2008!) and possibly(if someone else is?) staying over! btw,Well done for going solo on aerotow Will! Also, there is some sort of barbeque/meal being put on this saturday!
I've just recieved a piece of magical fairy dust (okay, the consensus of a few weather websites) which implies cruddy weather on sunday. I'm no met expert, but I saw a lot of black unhappy clouds and raindrops...so I don't think i'll be staying over.
As for July 2015...owing to the Patriot Act 2013 (revised), only fictional US presidents are allowed to so much as breathe on a glider. The CIA have nicked the K13 under the cover of 'tailplane malfunctions' and it's currently 50km underground somewhere around area 51, feeling somewhat violated. :DD
mmh. . . .Yirka - I'm sure that I've heard that name somewhere before . . . . wasn't that the name of that flying 'ace' that went from beginner to Bronze XC in only a few months (and then suddenly disappeared!) ? ? ? lol! ;-)
Good to hear from you 'Captain' Matusik! I'd sent you a congratulatory SMS (didn't know any other way to get hold of you!)but don't suppose that you bother to read things like that whilst you're off 'having fun'!
I don't suppose that you would consider coming all the way back from 'wherever in the world' you are to 'sunny' Ditchforth this weekend, would you? It is, of course, because we all miss you so much(nothing to do witht he fact that you are the only one that will be around to drive the winch . . . . ho hum!!!)
This is, of course, a 'once in a life-time' offer . . . who could possibly refuse? (btw, despite the fact that aerotow fees have gone up, winch fees have not - but this is really nothing to do with us wanting you to come back for this weekend!(honestly!)
Hope that you're having fun, clocking up all of those 'cheap' gliding hours back home!
